Framed reproduction (print) of a famous photograph taken by M. B. Parkinson. This print of "Cupid Awake" hung in a bedroom in the DeLamar Hotel until 1941. A young girl (Josephine Anderson) portraying Cupid holds a bow and arrow, looking directly into the camera. The print is sepia toned. The simple frame is wood with a layer of cream-colored paint. The paint is chipped, most likely a result of age and poor storage conditions. There is a maker's mark on the back of the print that reads: "No. 1950. Cupid Awake. Copyrighted. Published by Taber Prang Art Co.
